I did love to be glued to tele during cricket season . Certainly not to see the ball flying to all parts of the ground. But to see new adds , aired for 1st time. Did see this add and kept guessing, it may be reliance ,na, its essar. I did see the complete on the second time only. Quite a amazing add. check it out for your self.

Love of adds /SBI life insurance add.

We assume that insurance is sold by fear factor alone. That may be right to a large extend . Recently came across the add by SBI life insurance which , did the other way around, no fear factor but life/fun/enthusiasms/optimism was there theme. A wonderful add and a memorable add infact. To be remembered for a long time. Jab Hum Hoge 60 Saal Ke Aur Tum Hogi 55 Ki, is the sound track used and the husband adds his version to the song.

Love sex aur dhoka

Rajeev masand gave 4 stars to this movie and rediff gave 4/5 stars to this movie. The first reaction I gave after watching this movie was, it is over rated. I made comparison with Dus Khaniya. Then I realized its about the cameras, CCTVs, and all of kind of cameras possible and how is effecting us or can effect us. We been reading in newspapers how minutes cameras are making life miserable and then the Dev D MMS , again a kind of camera. I will go with 3 stars for LSD. *** The movie is quite different. The treatment of film is quite simple . The stories are knitted well and it is a movie worth watching once. If you want to watch something different then the usual, then LSD is the choice.The title of the movie justifies to an extend alone. Audience must have expected, including myself lot of bold scenes , which never happens. Lastly the title track is worth listening.

Striker. I love this movie . A simple movie . Story revolves around carom and life . Sidhart has done a good role. It is a great movie with great music . I did love every bit of it. Your turn now.

Road to Sangam , watch it for Gandhi.

Road to sangam is another intersting movie I have seen this time around . Yeap Bolloywood is making good movies , sensible movies . Hurrya a reason to be movie watcher. 

The movie ofcourse gets bit prolonged towards the second half but quite a movie. Paresh Rawal is fantastic and so is his doctor friend . Om puri though has negative kind of role has done well. All and all . Good story , boss here is another one

Karthik Calling Karthik. Worth watching .

Farahan Akhtar staring in Karthik calling Karthik along with Deepika is one hell of a movie. The critics have rated it just an average movie. I don't agree with them. This movie is quite a thriller it makes you to hold on the seats. Friends it is not a masala movie. It is about a good story. If you love movies for good stories then this one is for you. I enjoyed it . And I am going gagaga about it.I have never love actors in my life so far. I think my fav actor is definitely Farahan Aktar. The pair does look cool on the screen . I am looking forward to see more of this pair on the screen.

Calicut, Euphoria and Chicken Biryani

We were in calicut on 9th of Feb for an interview on 10th. And after interview we had a good 4-5 hours to kill . Our bus was in the night by 9.45 PM. We did spend it in the foucs mall there. Veena called up on my phone to say that Euphoria is playing on the beach in the calicut as part of Malabar Mahautsva. 

Veena's friends husband drove us to the beach and we did hear couple of songs played. 

It was awsome as veena puts it often . Kannan don't kill me for mentioning her ,here couple of twice.

2. Kya kargi tu Kashamir jaaka

3. Mehafuz hoo.

I had a great time. First live performance I have ever seen. It was full of energy . Awesome.  Alas ! we could not see the entire show cos we had bus to catch back to Trivandrum.

My classmates Kanna and Prajith , the moment we stepped out of the railway station rushed to a hotel to have a chicken biryani, they had it at Hot buns and then on the 10th we went to Sagar after the interview again to have chicken biryani, my another classmate anu settled for half a plate and me for a veg lunch . And Kannan went gaga about the Chicken Birayni. 


And did express his anguish about the Trivandrum Biryani. 


It is believed that Biryani hails from calicut. And girls are beautiful in Calicut , which i could not verify except anu,who is my classmate for almost two years now.

Where is the dustbin?

Are we short sighted , a relevant question to ask. All around we see , we find that we are short sighted. just thinking of getting things done now or moving on as soon as we can without even thinking or giving second thought. I was at KanyaKumari, a beautiful place to be and yes lot of tourist too.And one could see trash every where, because no one bothered to find a dustbin . It pissess off, Our houses should be clean but why not our roads and public places as well. Other day I was with my friendwatching a movie and moment he finished his popcorn , he threw the paper container beneath the seat. And one could see a water bottle left there on the ground , the movie goer , didn't take the pain to drop the bottle in the bin again. Whats wrong with us? We may be educated , but certainly commonsense is missing. We may not be the next Enstien or Gates but we do make difference by doing small thing possibly the smallest of the things. We take life for granted until we are victim of it. And that is heart breaking. Please lets stop being complacent about life .

Choco Lava Cake isn't that Choco.

 The advertisement is really appealing and tempting . 

I am talking about the new offering by Domions , its called Choco Lava Cake.

The actual cost, exclusive of taxes is  Rs45/- and  Rs 25/- when purchased with an pizza i.e, the scheme .I paid Rs 45+ taxes and I am of opinion, it was not worthy. But it really looked yummy in the add . A disappointment to live with like the pasta , a wonderful add and a ok product.
